Match Preview

Welcome to the NRLW grand final! This tournament has expanded significantly and improved yearly, from just four teams back in 2018 to a substantially expanded 12 teams. Surprisingly, the championship match includes the Roosters and Broncos in the title match, just as we did back in 2018.

The two sides have been remarkable this season – the Roosters are yet to be defeated in 2025 and Brisbane has dropped just one match. Each team feature superstars throughout their lineups and both are perfectly capable of claiming victory when performing well.

The last matchup between them occurred in round three – during July – when Sydney achieved a close win by just four points. In that game, Sydney began powerfully, created a comfortable half-time lead, before Brisbane launched a final period fightback. Olivia Kernick registered a vital late try to secure the victory for the reigning champions in a thrilling contest. If the competitors duplicate that effort from the earlier matchup, viewers will witness a magnificent game today.

With plenty of excitement coming up, let's begin!
